April turned 31 today, and we went to the Last Resort Grill in Athens, GA for dinner. I highly recommend this place as a must if you ever find yourself in Athens for a night or two. Another must-try in Athens is called is The Grit.
Anyway, I gave her a bunch of travel books about California and the southwest that we will both enjoy.

Happy Birthday Ape! I always foget you are older than me until I remember on the day before your birthday and then get back with you in the days after. I love the new blogsite it makes me feel like I know what is going on with you guys. Once i thought about blogging my life, but then i remembered I don't have time. Anyway, Happy Birthday to someone I never thought I could call the most adventurous, risk taking, bravest, and strongest person I know. Of course you always were the most caring, compassionate, organized, and intelligent to begin with. It's just the miracle of blending with your other halves (me and Jay of course) that brings out these qualities you always had self doubt about. i am so proud of you and you have accomplished so much in your 31 years than most even do in an eternity. I love you (and Jay too) so please be careful on your trip and maybe we can celebrate 32 together. Who knows, wouldn't be the first time I came cross country to get a hug:-)
